EXTENSION OF TIME FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS
for the Proposed Construction and Completion of Contractor’s Proposed Design and Build Metal Roof (Nominated Sub-Contract Works) of a 3-Storey Extension to an Existing Temple on Lot 194 Jalan Maharajalela, Kuala Lumpur.
This is to announce that the pre-qualification of Contractors for the tendering of the above Project shall be extended to on or before 12:00h Friday, 31 May, 2024.

Suitably qualified Contractors who are registered with Malaysia Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) with a minimum of Grade G3 and above and with proven track records are invited to apply and register for pre-qualification for the Construction and Completion of Contractor’s Proposed Design and Build Metal Roof (Nominated Sub-Contract Works) for the Proposed Construction of a 3-Storey Extension to an Existing Temple (威镇宫观音寺Kuan Yin Temple) on Lot 194 Jalan Maharajalela, Kuala Lumpur. The Works shall comprise the execution, construction and completion of Contractor’s Design and Build metal roof truss system including roof truss support I-beams complete with metal deck roofing, aluminium strip ceiling, skylight, gutters and all associated works. The tender exercise for the Works is expected to be conducted in June 2024.
Interested contractors are required to first submit all their relevant supporting documents, including company profile, CIDB registration certification, company track records, and the latest audited accounts for the last three (3) financial years on or before 12:00h on 31 May, 2024 to:

Only shortlisted contractors would be invited for the subsequent tender exercise, and they would be required to acquire the tender documents and drawings from the consultant QS office at a nonrefundable fee to be advised during tender invitation. The Building and Development Committee of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Association, hereinafter referred to as “the Association”, reserves the right to accept or reject any application in the pre-qualification exercise without having to give any reason; its decision shall be final. All costs incurred in the preparation & submission of the prequalification documents shall be borne by the contractors alone. The Association shall not be responsible for any costs and expenses incurred by the contractors in the pre- qualification exercise.
Only successful pre-qualified contractors would be notified.

1. Tender for Mechanical System Services
Suitably qualified Contractors with proven track records are invited to participate in the E-tender exercise for Mechanical System Services for the above mentioned extension project; the system services shall include the following:
a. Cold Water Plumbing System
b. Sanitary Plumbing System
c. Fire Protection System
d. Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) system
2. Tender for Electrical System Services
Suitably qualified Contractors with proven track records are invited to participate in the E-tender exercise for Electrical System Services for the above mentioned extension project; the system services shall include the following:
a. Electrical System
b. Extra Low Voltage (ELV) System
3. Tender for Lift Services
Suitably qualified Contractors with proven track records are invited to participate in the E-tender exercise for Lift Services for the above mentioned extension project.
The collection of the tender documents and drawings would be done via e-mail from the office of the relevant consultant at a non-refundable fee of RM500.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Five Hundred Only) in the form of a cheque payable to “KVA Consult (M) Sdn. Bhd.”
The Building and Development Committee of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Association, hereinafter referred to as “the Association”, reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without having to give any reason; its decision shall be final. All costs incurred in the preparation & submission of the tendering documents shall be borne by the contractors alone. The Association shall not be responsible for any costs and expenses incurred by the contractors in the tender exercise.
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender bond for the sum of RM 1,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: One Thousand only) in the form of a bank draft or by way of a banker’s guarantee made out to “Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Association”, together with all relevant supporting documents, including company profiles, company track records, and the latest audited accounts for the last three (3) financial years, and submit to: –
